Seems to me that a man oughtta notice when a couple Christmases come and go, especially when he's lacking in the way of distracting substances, but far as I can tell, this is exactly what happened in the case of yours truly. Don't look to me like any time has passed, but everything else's telling me otherwise.
That's the sorta thing that's apt to unsettle anybody, wouldn't you say?
