Well, that was positively cheery. Last time I ever celebrated was when I was twelve, I think. Bout the same thing, only with more cigarette burns, stale beer smells, and cheap, blinky lights. Y'know, standard holiday fare.

Sorry I couldn't oblige ya'll with a gift or two but the Admiral didn't like my request, apparently.

Or maybe he did. You'll never know with this place.

[Private to Morgana]

How'd you know what to ask for? [He assumes she asked for something specific. Which would confirm for him her power of foresight.]

[Like many others, Top Dollar is death tolling and doesn't seem to be especially unhappy to be resting. Instead he just is, but he's looking quite pensive as well. It's the most he'll do to show that the place made him uncomfortable, because nobody came back happy about that place.]

I like a good surprise as much as the next guy, but I've gotta admit, it woulda been nice having at least some sort of warning beforehand. Not even nice. Easier.

Sister wouldn't have thought much of that place. Probably best she's not here for that reason. Didn't seem to look too kind on people with, ah -- deeper perceptions, if you get what I'm saying. Not that it was a barrel of fucking monkeys for anyone else, but I watch the network. I see things.

Kinda underscores the whole notion that things don't really happen for much of a reason here. Not unless someone wants to try and tell me something ought have been learned from all that.

[Top Dollar's cabin is a mess, because he's been tearing it apart looking for things to steal -- food, weapons, anything. The boy onscreen is about twelve, dirty-faced, wearing ratty clothes.]

Where the fuck's my sister?
